Haus Ivy Service Agreement
Thank you for choosing Haus Ivy. This Service Agreement outlines the terms that ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for every visit. By booking a service with Haus Ivy LLC, you agree to the policies below.
1. Scope of Services
Your selected Ivy Reset or Ivy Refresh defines the services included during your visit.
A standard visit may include:
• Detailed surface dusting and wiping
• Precision vacuuming and floor care
• Kitchen surface polishing
• Bathroom refresh and sanitization
• Bed-making and linen straightening (linen changes if provided by client)
• Trash removal
• Thoughtful finishing touches
Exclusions:
We do not provide exterior window cleaning, mold remediation, pest waste removal, hoarding or large-scale decluttering, biohazard cleanup, heavy furniture moving, or work requiring unsafe heights or specialized equipment.
We cannot guarantee results for pre-existing damage, deep staining, or permanent discoloration.
2. Scheduling & Home Access
Appointments are confirmed with a defined arrival window. Access may be provided via doorman, lockbox, client presence, or a key on file.
Clients agree to provide:
• Safe, unobstructed entry
• Working utilities (water, electricity, climate control)
• Accurate building entry instructions
If we cannot access your home within 15 minutes of arrival due to access issues, the appointment may be marked as a no-show.
3. Investment & Payment
Ivy Reset (first-time visit): $200
Ivy Refresh (biweekly): $180
Ivy Refresh (monthly): $200
Payment is collected at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Payments are processed through Stripe using the card provided during scheduling.
Tips are optional and go 100% to your cleaner.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Changes
Client-Initiated Changes:
• 24+ hours’ notice: no fee
• Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: full service charge may apply
Haus Ivy-Initiated Changes:
If we must adjust your appointment, we will offer the earliest comparable time. If the new slot is more than 72 hours later than your original appointment, we will issue a $50 credit.
Additional tasks or requests beyond your selected service may adjust pricing.
5. Preparing for Your Visit
To help us deliver the best possible Reset or Refresh, please:
• Declutter surfaces you’d like detailed
• Secure valuables, cash, fragile items, and sensitive documents
• Secure pets as needed
• Inform us of allergies, sensitivities, or delicate finishes (e.g., untreated marble)
6. Safety & Work Conditions
Work may be paused or declined if conditions involve:
• Biohazards
• Pest infestations
• Aggressive animals
• Construction debris
• Unsafe access or hazardous environments
If work must stop due to unsafe conditions, a minimum visit fee of $150 may apply.
7. Supplies & Finishing Touches
We bring a curated kit of premium tools and non-toxic products chosen for a calm, clean home.
Each Reset includes a subtle finishing touch—lightly scented or scent-free, based on your preference.
No brand names or specific product requests are guaranteed unless agreed to in writing.
8. Quality Assurance
If anything within the agreed scope is missed, notify us within 24 hours with photos. We will schedule a complimentary touch-up within 7 days, subject to availability.
If a re-clean is not possible, a partial credit may be issued at our discretion.
9. Breakage & Damage Policy
We take great care in every home. In the rare event of damage, Haus Ivy will repair, replace with like-kind, or reimburse fair value (up to the cost of the visit).
We do not cover:
• Pre-existing damage
• Items with undisclosed fragility
• Unstable fixtures or loose hardware
• Wear-and-tear or cosmetic imperfections
• Items of high value or sentimental significance unless disclosed in writing prior to service
10. Team & Non-Solicitation
Our cleaners are vetted professionals trained to the Ivy Standard. While we aim for consistency, specific cleaner assignments cannot be guaranteed.
Clients agree not to directly hire or solicit Haus Ivy cleaners for private work for 12 months following their last Haus Ivy service.
11. Insurance & Documentation
Haus Ivy maintains general liability coverage exceeding $1,000,000. Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are available upon request and may be required by certain buildings.
12. Photography & Privacy
With your permission, we may take non-identifying before/after photos for quality assurance. Any marketing photos are fully anonymized and do not include personal or identifying details.
13. Month-to-Month Terms & Termination
Recurring Ivy Refresh services operate on a month-to-month basis. Either party may cancel at any time with notice. All outstanding balances must be resolved at cancellation.
14. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including severe weather, building access issues, or utility outages.
15. Disputes & Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New York State. Parties will attempt good-faith resolution within 10 days before pursuing claims in NYC small claims court or arbitration.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with your booking confirmation, constitutes the full understanding between the client and Haus Ivy LLC. Acceptance is captured electronically at checkout.
