Haus Ivy Service Agreement
Welcome to Haus Ivy. Our service agreement is designed to ensure every visit delivers the elevated, spa-grade experience we promise, while also keeping expectations clear and protecting both our clients and our team. By booking with Haus Ivy LLC, you agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of Services
Your selected service package is tailored to your preferences and home. Each package includes a curated checklist to ensure consistent, detail-oriented results every time.
Core Clean: Dusting and wiping of surfaces, precision vacuuming/mopping of floors, sparkling kitchen counters, sink & exterior appliances, refreshed bathrooms, made beds, and trash removal.
Complete Care: All Core Clean items, plus inside oven, fridge, microwave, cabinet fronts/interiors (if emptied), grout detailing, high dusting, baseboards, furniture edges, and interior windows/tracks (reachable).
Exclusions: Exterior windows, mold remediation, biohazards, pest waste, hoarding/clear-outs, work beyond a 2-step ladder, heavy furniture moving, chandelier/crystal work, or specialty stone restoration.
2. Scheduling & Access
We will confirm your preferred day and time window in advance. On the day of service, access may be provided via doorman, lockbox, client presence, or key on file. The client warrants safe access and working utilities (water, power, climate control).
3. Investment & Payment
Core Clean: $300 per visit
Complete Care: $450 per visit
(plus applicable tax)
Payments are processed automatically via your card on file through our secure Stripe system at completion of service.
Tips: Never expected but always appreciated. 100% goes directly to your cleaner.
Late fees: Unpaid balances more than 7 days past due accrue 1.5% per month (or maximum allowed by law).
4. Reschedule, Cancellation & Changes
Client changes: 24+ hours’ notice = no fee. Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show = $100 late cancellation fee.
Company changes: If we must reschedule, we’ll offer the earliest comparable slot and provide a $50 credit if the move exceeds 72 hours.
Additional requests: Tasks outside your selected package require approval and may adjust price/time.
5. Client Preparation
To ensure our team can focus on delivering a true reset, please:
Declutter surfaces you’d like thoroughly cleaned.
Secure valuables, cash, firearms, and sensitive documents.
Manage pets as needed.
Disclose allergies, sensitivities, and delicate finishes (e.g., untreated marble).
6. Safety & Wellbeing
We may decline work in areas with biohazards, aggressive animals, construction debris, or unsafe access. If work must stop for safety reasons, a minimum visit fee of $150 may be applied.
7. Supplies & Signature Touches
We bring spa-grade, non-toxic products and tools, including L’Avant Collective, Branch Basics, Dyson technology, and Le Labo scents. Your scent preference (Santal 26, Ambroxyde 17, or No Scent) will be confirmed in advance and noted for future visits.
8. Our Quality Promise
If we miss anything within the scope of your service, please notify us within 24 hours with photos. We will return within 7 days to address it at no cost. Refunds or credits are at our discretion if a re-clean cannot be scheduled.
9. Breakage & Damage Policy
In the rare event of damage:
We will repair, replace with like-kind, or reimburse fair value (up to the visit fee).
Not covered: pre-existing damage, unstable fixtures, or undisclosed fragility.
Items of unusual value or delicacy must be disclosed in writing before service.
10. Team & Non-Solicitation
Our cleaners are highly trained professionals. We strive to provide the same cleaner for recurring visits. To protect our team, clients agree not to directly hire or solicit Haus Ivy cleaners for private work for 12 months after their last service.
11. Insurance & Documentation
Haus Ivy maintains general liability coverage of $1,000,000+ and a janitorial bond. Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are available upon request and may be required by buildings.
12. Photography & Reviews
With your permission, we may take anonymized before/after photos for quality control. Marketing photos are staged and anonymized with discretion.
13. Term & Termination
Services are provided on a month-to-month basis for recurring clients. Either party may terminate at any time. Outstanding balances and policies herein survive termination.
14. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, utility outages, building access issues).
15. Disputes & Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by New York law. Parties will first attempt good-faith resolution within 10 days. If unresolved, claims may be brought in NYC small-claims court or through binding arbitration.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with incorporated exhibits and booking confirmations, represents the entire understanding between Haus Ivy LLC and the client, and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements.
By booking a service with Haus Ivy LLC, you acknowledge and agree to this Service Agreement. Your acceptance is recorded electronically at the time of booking.
